Comments: I ran later in the day today: I started at 3:10 p.m. (the warmest part of the day) and took 70 minutes to run this portion of the trail. My husband dropped me off at my start point and picked me up when I finished. All of the segments were well marked although I was surprised in two places. Right after the trail crosses PD, it turns into a very wide sidewalk--that was surprise one. Surprise two came at the University Ridge Golf Course. I expected to be running on the golf cart path, crossing greens. Instead, I ran mainly through wooded portions of the property. There were even quite a few downed trees in the path to hurdle. The remainder of the trail was well marked and pleasant with one exception. The trail between Mid Town Rd. and Saracen Way traversed some turf. Running on partially frozen turf is tricky!!!. I did see one very large rabbit, but otherwise my route was deserted. I didn't even see any people. I guess the holiday weekend kept folks inside.
